Meet the Founder
Malorie Lindqvist, LCSW is an Integrative Psychotherapist and a Certified Sound Healer with expertise in treating complex trauma as well as in therapeutic group work. As a Neuro-Affective Relational Model (NARM®) Therapist, she is trained in working with people who have experienced developmental trauma and Complex PTSD. As a psychotherapist with 13 years of experience, her offerings are rooted in trauma-informed practices from both Western and Eastern theories of healing and transformation.
Malorie created Withinscape with the intention to offer another path to healing through embodied connection and community. She is passionate about using the present-oriented modality of Sound Therapy to invite harmony in the mind and body through nervous system rebalancing.

“I want to help you embrace all aspects of yourself so that you can find a home within your own body. It is my intention to create a safe environment for you to show up exactly as you are. Healing complex trauma is a vehicle for transformation on a personal and collective level.”
How Withinscape began
My journey into the world of sound healing began with a profound realization: traditional therapeutic approaches, while effective, often left a gap in addressing the holistic needs of individuals. Over the years, I observed that many clients struggled with deep-seated emotional wounds that conventional talk therapy alone could not fully heal. This led me to explore complementary modalities that could offer a more integrative and embodied approach to healing.

I discovered the transformative power of sound healing and its healing impact on the mind and body. This non-verbal approach to therapy can bypass the cognitive defenses, allowing individuals to access and process trauma on a deeper, more intuitive level.
Incorporating sound healing into my practice has enabled me to offer a more comprehensive healing experience. This modality not only complements traditional therapeutic techniques but also enriches them, providing a bridge between the psychological and the physiological aspects of healing.
By extending my offerings to include sound healing, I aim to support my clients in achieving a more profound state of wholeness and connection. This integrative approach aligns with my mission to facilitate healing within individuals, helping them to reconnect with their true selves and fostering a deeper sense of community and belonging. At Withinscape, I am committed to guiding others on their healing journeys, combining the best of both worlds, to create a nurturing and transformative space for all.
